Job Description

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer with strong experience in Accessibility (Keyboard/VoiceOver)Accessibility Testing, and Front-End Development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) to join our onsite team in Austin, Texas.

This role focuses on building accessible and inclusive web experiences, ensuring compliance with Apple’s accessibility standards, and collaborating with IS&T internal groups to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance front-end web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with a focus on accessibility.
  • Implement accessibility features and best practices (Keyboard navigation, VoiceOver, screen reader compatibility, etc.).
  • Perform Accessibility Testing and fix issues identified through audits and validation tools.
  • Work closely with Apple’s internal teams to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 and Apple accessibility guidelines.
  • Prepare and maintain all Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) artifacts and documentation.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to ensure accessibility standards are met.
