Job Description

Job Title : AWS Data Lead / AWS Data Architect

Duration : Contract / CTH

Location : New York City, NY

Job Description:

  • 10+ years of software development experience
  • Architect and implement solutions on AWS Elasticsearch
  • Engineer solutions on AWS based data processing stack
  • Work with business and IT teams to understand and capture search requirements
  • Hands on experience with EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, SNS, Lambda, Kinesis, Kinesis Firehose and API Gateway
  • Good understanding of Microservices Architecture especially on the Data ingestion side
  • Experience consuming and build REST APIs
  • Strong Java/Python development skills
  • Strong SQL skills (NoSQL skills preferred)
  • Experience with ETL architecture and using ETL tools
  • Experience writing multithreaded and high performant software
